The DEB Card System is a new approach to education, teaching and sharing Information.
The cards work in one of two ways. From helping to retaining information from study days and other areas of learning, to being used to teach a topic, or open up an area for further education with the use of QR codes.
Our working mantra early on became…..
Rewind, Remind & Retain!
When people need to Rewind, to Remind themselves of content, DEB cards become an invaluable way to Retain the Information.
Our cards are compact wipeable, easily stored and can be used for promotions, advertising and advice, to support, fundraising and sales. QR codes can be added for sign posting, and to encourage further learning and education.
Education & Training remains key to the DEB Card System and the use of our system will only enhance what’s being taught or learnt.
Development began in 2022 when an in-depth study day left staff at a hospital discussing new and amended terms, and needing to remember the relevant changes.
This led to a Nurse designing and developing the first bullet-point card, to help herself and colleagues. The cards once printed, were met with such positive feedback, that it wasn’t long before discussions began on developing them further. The concept however wouldn’t just remain for Hospitals Study Days for long.
Soon it was realised how the concept would be suitable for Colleges, Schools, Clubs, Companies and all the Emergency Services.
All types of information could be professionally organised and created to be shared. So In January 2023 the DEB Card System was developed.
DEB stands for Developmental, Educational, Bullet-Points.
Every card has the main points of learning highlighted so they can be referred to at anytime, anywhere.
The plastic cards are wipeable, sturdy, can fit in a wallet, behind a phone cover or in a name badge holder.
They can be numbered for ease of use and replacement when information changes or updates are made.
From ‘Infection Control’ cards for Nurses, ‘Internet Safety’ aimed at school children, and ‘Basic Life Support’ guidelines for University students. These cards can benefit so many people in their day to day lives.
When it comes to the important areas of Education & Healthcare, the OFSTEAD and CQC assessments are always a worry. However going that extra mile can be the difference between a ‘GOOD’ or ’EXCELLENT’ rating.
So why not do something exciting, innovative and clever.
Keep yourself, students and staff up-to-date, and get your efforts noticed with
